ABSMAN 2.0: COULD THIS QUIET REBUILD BLINDSIDE EVERYONE?
by Pope Degen
Absman’s back — and this time, it might actually land.
Not fake buzz. Not rushed promises. Just a real CTO doing real work, and a project that’s slowly showing signs of life again — like the new, jacked Absman himself.
I’ve been watching over the past month. Quiet consistency. A lean team putting in actual work. At a $12K market cap with 150+ active in the community, it’s giving those rare early-stage vibes — the kind that can run... or still might stall.
Is this the comeback that sticks — or just another quiet rebuild in a loud ecosystem?
📜 FROM RUG TO REBUILD
Absman V1 had real potential.
Clean art. A buzzing community. Even a nod from Luca. But the hype train hit a wall when the original dev rugged the whole thing into the floor.
A community takeover tried to patch things up — but it wasn’t enough. The energy faded. Most left and didn’t look back.
But not everyone.
Fast forward: two original CTO members teamed up with two more committed holders. No reset — just a sharper rebuild.
Same Absman, now with actual muscle behind it.
🛠️ BUILDERS OVER BUZZ
Talk to Corey and it’s clear — this isn’t a meme flip.
No fluff, no shortcuts. Just a small team actually trying to do it right.
New content, sharper visuals, steady updates, and actual community presence. No pump threads, no VC backers — just consistent output from people who still think this matters.
There’s no loud campaign. No fake launch. Just effort. That might be enough. Might not. But at least it's real.
🧱 MEET THE BUILDERS
Two Kiwis, an Aussie, and a Canadian walk into a bar... and start rebuilding a token.
Sounds like the setup to a bad joke, but it's far from that.
Corey (32, Auckland): Driving vision, product, and keeping the culture sharp.
Justin (31, Canada): Systems and operations — the one making sure everything behind the scenes stays functional and tight.
Ishan (37, Australia): Real-world delivery — ensuring ideas don’t just sit on a whiteboard.
0x-Canvas (30, New Zealand): Creative lead — sharpening Absman’s identity and energy.
No VC money.
No fake advisors waiting to flex after a pump.
Just four builders who decided this was still worth doing right.
🦸🏽♂️ A NEW LOOK THAT HITS DIFFERENT
"Jacked to the max. Handsome AF. Built different."
That’s the energy the new Absman gives off — and it’s not just looks.
Early Absman was clean, a little cartoony — but maybe too safe. Easy to scroll past.
It had the spark, but not the fire.
The upgraded Absman makes the old one look like Absboy.
Fully leveled up. Jacked out of his mind. Usually surrounded by stunners, naturally.
The new Absman doesn’t just look better — he feels different.
Like a superhero version of himself — somewhere between the Hulk, Dan Bilzerian, and a late-night Abstract fever dream.
It’s a flex. And it fits.
🏋️ FICTION MEETS FLEX IRL
This part’s honestly cool.
The character is bigger, sharper, and stronger, and now the brand is too.
Their first move on the board? A jacked-up Absman dropping a pre-workout, which just feels right.
Instead of rushing and dropping the usual merch for the sake of it, the team focused on building something that lines up with what Absman stands for — strength, energy, showing up.
It’s apparently been tested internally and tweaked, and only moves forward if it’s right. It’s the kind of first step that feels natural — and a sign they’re thinking bigger than just being another project on the feed.

🧠 POPE'S VERDICT
Absman isn’t loud. It’s not trending. And there’s still real risk here as always at this size.
But that’s also what makes it interesting.
There’s no doubt Absman has a lot going for it. But where does that get it? Because when a project doesn’t chase attention, doesn’t try to shortcut growth, and doesn’t flinch after a rug… that’s surely when you start paying attention?
When I’m sizing up projects, I’m not checking follower counts or how many pump threads they’ve paid for.
I’m asking three things:
Do the builders actually believe in what they’re making?
Are they doing it the right way — without shortcuts?
Can you feel the momentum stacking, even before it’s obvious?
Absman 2.0 might not moon. But it could.
It’s got early signs of strength: a small, sharp team. A strong character brand. Clear execution so far.
And that’s more than most projects at this MC can say.
They stayed when others left. They built quietly. And now the foundation looks stronger than ever — even if no one’s watching yet.
That doesn’t guarantee a win. But it does give it a shot.
